Dr. Jimenez is a bilingual Licensed School Psychologist specializing in Psycho-educational and Gifted evaluations in South Florida. Ultimately, her goal is to assist families in helping their children reach their maximum potential emotionally and academically. Every child has strengths which are too often overlooked; therefore, further understanding a child’s learning style can make a world of a difference in the effectiveness of their education delivery and, more importantly, in how the child feels.

Dr. Gihanna Jimenez is both a doctor in education and a Licensed School Psychologist. As a bilingual school psychologist, fluent in Spanish and English, she has over 12 years of experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations. Her areas of expertise include assessment of children and adolescents with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Intellectual Disabilities. Furthermore, she also conducts Gifted and Developmental evaluations.
Areas of Expertise
Dr. Jimenez is highly trained in administering psychological testing in order to assess cognitive, academic, processing, and social-emotional functioning. These assessments involve interviews with the parent/s and a comprehensive evaluation process. At the completion of the evaluation session, a feedback session with parent/s takes place to collaboratively formulate a plan for maximizing the student’s academic and/or emotional potential.
